2020 Recovery Bootcamp
Manhattan, New York
FUA Recovery Bootcamp
February 20 – 22, 2020
Manhattan, New York
Attendance is limited to 7 Financial UA participants. This maximizes our ability to provide one on one attention and support.
As a small group we will be going to several 12 Step meetings a day together across a wide variety of different Fellowships, having meals together, attending an entertainment venue together, traveling together, fellowshipping together; building positive relationships together and discussing recovery goals, actions and visions together within a small group.
The goal is to SUPERCHARGE your Recovery and to help you connect more closely with Higher Power and Earning Power. You may also choose to work on specific Goals or Visions or Step-work. It is also my goal to introduce you to some of the most powerful and high-quality recovery meetings held in Manhattan, NYC.
It is recommended to have a conversation with me (Jay) ahead of time to inform me of any personal sensitivities or specific recovery needs or personal boundaries within recovery or otherwise. We will attempt to adjust the Bootcamp to accommodate you regarding such matters.
Each participant is welcome to arrive at or depart from Manhattan NYC at any time they choose. It is strongly recommended that each participate begin the Bootcamp on schedule and complete the Bootcamp on schedule. Please adjust your travel plans accordingly.
It is recommended to bring warm clothes and comfortable walking shoes as Manhattan is chilly in late February and there may possibly be snow. We will be doing a lot of walking outside throughout the city.
Each participant is welcome to arrange for their own lodging in any manner they choose. Lodging is self-pay.
Each participant is welcome to arrange for their own meals in any manner they choose. Meals are self-pay.
Each participant is welcome to arrange for their own transportation in any manner they choose. Transportation is self-pay.
Taxi or subway will be self-pay although it has been a best practice in previous events to take UBER or LYFT together as a group and split the cost or to alternate paying for ride-share services.
Registration fee for the weekend is recommended as $50 donated to the FUA fellowship via the finanicalua.org website…click the “Donate” button so your registration will then be tax-deductible. You may consider contributing extra as a Scholarship so that other members may register. Any amount you donate will be considered tax-deductible.
It is recommended to participate fully in the weekend event rather than attending part and being absent part of the time. However, all members are in attendance by their own choice and may leave at any time or choose not to participate at any time. There are no rules other than mutual support, unity and fellowship. We are all choosing to meet up to participate in recovery together, learn and improve our recovery survival skills and build supportive relationships with each other within a recovery context. Appropriate manners and etiquette are highly encouraged.
