Financial UA develops all program workbooks and worksheets from within. As a Fellowship, we do not use literature taken from other programs or Fellowships; however, we do respect the right of each member to use any Recovery Literature they choose. This approach respects the personal autonomy of each member (Tradition Four) while also respecting the need to limit outside influences on FUA (Tradition Six and Tradition Ten). The exception to this occurs in our use of Think & Grow Rich and Richest Man in Babylon. These two pieces of program literature were not developed from within, but rather have been vetted and approved for FUA Fellowship use after a multi-year evaluation period; and are currently in the Public Domain, such that no-one profits from their use, no copyrights are violated and no infringement of intellectual property happens. Also, no private entity or owner profits from the distribution of Public Domain material and no private entity or owner is able to exert outside influence over Financial UA as a Fellowship. This allows FUA to maintain program integrity around Traditions Six and Ten. Financial UA offers all Public Domain literature for free as we claim no rights and do not collect any money from the distribution of this material. Both (Public Domain) pieces of literature are freely available to the public and can be easily searched for and downloaded from various sources over the internet.
