Meetings
Financial UA currently offers meetings and workshops, which are held over a telephone conference-call service (freeconferencecall.com); over a video-conferencing platform (ZOOM); and also offers groups in person face to face. In person meetings are available by way of recovery bootcamps, meeting marathons and share-a-day events that are held on a rotating basis in various major cities; such as Manhattan, Austin, Santa Monica, Baltimore, Washington D.C. and sometimes in countries outside the United States.
FUA Meetings offer members a space to participate in fellowship. Meetings are place for sharing and listening and learning how to hold space for healing, recovery and prosperity. Meetings are moderated by members and generally function in a democratic manner. Meetings may focus on reading and discussing recovery literature, exploring the Symptoms of Financial Underearning, discussing the Program Tools or the Spiritual Techniques, or simply to create a space for members to share their experience, strength and hope with one another. The primary purpose of FUA Meetings is to help people experience fellowship.
FUA Workshops are similar to Meetings with a few differences. Workshops are always moderated by a Qualified FUA Sponsor. Workshops function in a socratic manner and create a space for teaching and learning. Workshops tend to focus on exploring, studying and working the 12 Steps of Recovery, The Traditions or the Golden Ratio. The primary purpose of FUA Workshops is to help people recover.
The current list of scheduled FUA meetings and workshops is available on the FUA Meeting Directory page of the website. The clickable link for the Meeting Directory is at the top of this page.
